O, my dear, give me a lamp when
it's too dark for a sight,
Me and our home feel an emptiness,
In want of a light.
After the sunshine for a day,
The moonlight shown as a hope in
want of a sun ray,
Birds too fly for their home,
Too late I feel as the sky being gray.
Give me the lamp so that I can see,
What year it is seem to thee.
